Sheet Content Guide.

What belongs on every sheet — from the cover sheet through covered walkways. The BiiG standard for drawing content, organized by discipline.

General

Universal rules for every sheet.

  • Use the Sheet List for sheet numbers and titles.
  • Match project title on drawings and spec book cover, header and footers.
  • Include North Arrows on all plans.
  • Drawing Numbers going top to bottom and left to right.
  • Title all views IN CAPS and with appropriate titles:
    • LEVEL TYPE PLAN
    • TYPE DIRECTION ELEVATION
    • TYPE SECTION
    • TYPE DETAIL

    • Acoustical walls and fire rated walls are shown extending to the underside of the deck above and sealed.
    • Indicate UL design number for fire rated partitions. Indicate head, sill, and jamb detail numbers.
    • Partition types details are organized and number to match tags on plan.
